Safety Statement Policy

It is the policy of DESERT SHIELD. to conduct its activities in such a way as to take foremost account of the health and safety of its employees, the public in general and to give proper regard to the conservation of the environment. In implementing this policy OUR COMPANY not only complying with the requirements of the relevant legislation, but promoting in an appropriate manner the measures for the protection of the Health, Safety and Environment for all who may be affected directly or indirectly by its activities.

• Actively promotes the principle that all accidents should be prevented.
• Recognizes the importance of the involvement and commitment of management and other employees ensuring that they have the required skills and support.
• Assess Health, Safety & Environmental matters, before entering into new activities and reassess them in the case of a significant change in circumstances.
• Integrate into all their planning cycles, health, safety and environmental requirements and considerations.
• Aim to provide services, together with an emphasis that will not cause injury to health or undue impact on the environment.
• Keep all persons appropriately informed of known potential hazards and of the health, safety and environmental measures being taken to protect them.
• Establish and maintain Contingency Procedures to minimize harm from accidents that may occur at work.
